month of may
What a Month!
May has been an awesome month, packed with great energy, hard work, and plenty of personal growth.
The bush walks this month have been a major highlight. Exploring the trails at Summerhill and McLaren Falls was a great chance to unplug and connect with nature. A huge highlight has been tuning into the native bird sounds along the way, which has made these week day treks incredibly peaceful and rewarding. On these outings I experimented with new photography skills to fill a space using angles, lighting and focus zooms. Kluim park my favorite place
There was some fantastic hands-on work done over at the Welcome Bay Hot Pools. It wasn't just about putting in the hard yards to help maintain the facility; there was also plenty of time earned to sit back, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved soak in the hot water. Balancing good honest work with total relaxation was the perfect mix.
In drama class, the focus was all about building confidence. Stepping out of the comfort zone by trying on "different hats" allowed for great creative expression and a lot of laughs. Matching that creative energy, the "i-dance" sessions brought some awesome new rhythm and movement to the table for me.
The momentum continued straight into the gym this month. Focus levels were at an all-time high, resulting in smashed personal targets and consistent strength gains. Tracking workouts and hitting these major fitness goals week after week has built a good routine that I can follow and keep up.
Overall, May has been a massive success for me. It provided the perfect balance of outdoor adventure, community inclusion, creative confidence, and physical fitness. I can't wait to roll straight into June!
